How The Year Flows
Rooted in the Storm unfolds over the course of a year, following a steady, humane rhythm that honors growth, rest, and real life. Rather than rushing transformation, the program is designed to move in intentional cycles, allowing participants time to learn, practice, integrate, and return.
The Structure
The program consists of four core modules:
Alignment
Remembrance
Restoration
Purpose
Each module spans approximately 10 weeks, for a total of 40 weeks of guided learning and reflection.
Modules & Sections
Each module is divided into three sections, sometimes referred to as quarters.
These sections last 3–4 weeks each and provide a clear arc of exploration and integration.
Within each section, participants are invited to:
Engage with teachings at a manageable pace
Practice reflection and application in daily life
Revisit materials as needed
This layered structure allows depth without overwhelm.
A Seasonal Rhythm
Rooted in the Storm is intentionally designed to align with the natural flow of the year.
June & July: Integration & Mini Vacations
The months of June and July are built-in light-touch periods. During this time:
No new core lessons are released
Optional reflection or integration prompts may be offered
Participants are encouraged to rest, travel, work, and live fully
This pause is especially important for:
Youth participating in summer employment or programs
Families navigating seasonal transitions
Adults needing space for reflection and renewal
Learning does not stop—it settles.
How Participants Move Through the Program
Modules open according to the program schedule
Participants receive access to each section as it becomes available
Materials remain accessible for review and reflection
Everyone is encouraged to move at a pace that supports well-being
There is no pressure to “keep up.” Growth is understood as personal and cyclical, not linear.
Why This Matters
This structure reflects a core value of Rooted in the Storm:
transformation happens through consistency, care, and time.
By honoring rest alongside learning, the program supports:
Sustainable growth
Emotional and spiritual regulation
Long-term engagement rather than burnout
In Short
Rooted in the Storm is not a sprint.
It is a year-long journey designed to be lived—one season, one module, one step at a time.
